Nutrition 21 Inc. shares fell 14.5% to $1.95 in Monday morning trade after the Purchase, N.Y.-based nutritional supplement maker reported a fiscal fourth-quarter net loss of $3.7 million, or 9 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $3.7 million or 10 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue for the period ended June 30 rose to $2.5 million from $1.9 million. "We expect strong improvement in our revenues in fiscal 2007 once our products now on the shelf receive full advertising support," said President and Chief Executive Paul Intlekofer in a statement. "We also expect a significant contribution from our acquisition of Iceland Health."

Analysts at Miller Johnson Steichen Kinnard downgrade Redback Networks Inc from "outperform" to "market perform." The target price is set to $19.

UBS on Friday lowered its rating on
silver mining company Silver Standard Resources Inc.
to "neutral" from "buy" on share price appreciation.

In a research note, UBS said Silver Standard's share price
was up more than 50 percent since its June low.
However, the brokerage raised its price target on Silver
Standard to $29.50 from $28.00, saying the company could
benefit from positive news flow and exploration results
expected in the coming months.
